Take a good look at your passport

It may not be the first thing on your mind when you start planning your honeymoon, but don’t forget to check your passport’s expiration date. Most countries require at least 6 months’ validity on your passport. Apply as early as possible; passport processing times are now much longer.



Simple Can Be Better

Try not to overschedule your honeymoon.  Try to leave some time so you can relax and slow down.  Keep your schedule open so you can be open to new discoveries.

Take advantage of sales 

A lot of vendor are offering flexible plans and travel protection. Talk to your travel agent to ensure that this is part of your package. This was way, if you need to postpone your trip later, you can!  You want to ensure that you can reschedule your trip without any penalty.

Travel during the off season

When you're choosing your location, why not look into traveling during the off-season.  When you travel during the off season, you can enjoy plenty of advantages such as  fewer crowds, less traffic, better photo opportunities (refer back to "fewer crowds"), and lower costs.
